1. Who we are

SocialLoop is an event-management platform that helps organizers run engaging events — from registration and check-in to live games, surveys, and post-event photo galleries. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and profile details you provide when you create an account or sign in.
• Event participation data — events you organize or join, check-ins, game activity, connections made, and leaderboard scores.
• Photos and media — photos you upload to event galleries, stored securely in cloud object storage.
• Questionnaire and survey answers — responses you submit to organizer questionnaires and event surveys.
• Usage information — basic analytics about how the product is used, so we can improve it.

3. How we use your information

• To operate the platform: registration, check-in, live features, and galleries.
• To show organizers aggregated analytics about their own events.
• To send transactional emails (invitations, confirmations, receipts) via our email provider.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and debug issues.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your event data for third-party advertising.

4. Where your data lives

SocialLoop runs on trusted cloud infrastructure: our application and database are hosted on Convex and Vercel, photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage, and emails are delivered through Resend. Each provider processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.

5. Sharing with event organizers

When you join an event, the organizer can see the information relevant to running that event — your display name, check-in status, questionnaire and survey responses, and your activity within the event. Organizers are responsible for using that information appropriately.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing favour@creatin.ca. We will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us at the email above and we will help.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the product.
